CAIDX  – Clinical Artificial Intelligence based Diagnostics

Find out more

The project CAIDX establishes cooperation between artificial intelligence (AI) providers and healthcare institutions to help healthcare professionals integrate AI, and thus improve diagnostics and treatment.

At CAIDX, we work to facilitate the adoption of AI and data-driven diagnostic tools in healthcare by focusing on contracts, procurement and capacity building. We also promote co-development by creating guidelines and collecting best practices around testing and implementation of AI applications, with a focus on healthcare support. In CAIDEX, we also place great emphasis on the cultural change required to harness the potential of AI for the healthcare sector.

– AI has huge potential in healthcare, however, few AI-based decision support for diagnostics have been implemented so far. CAIDX aims to create a structured process for faster introduction of AI in healthcare in the Baltic Sea region, says Erik Stenberg, Innovation Manager Health at Innovation Skåne.
